The Lac des Salettes

If you let yourself be more easily seduced by the pretty peaceful corners than by the beaches known by all the tourists, you will find near the city center of Mormoiron, the Lac des Salettes, especially frequented by regulars who like to indulge in a few games of pétanque. Intimate, pleasant and family-friendly, this swimming spot in the Ventoux region is like a sweet secret whispered in the ears of your closest friends. There, you will find a large car park to facilitate parking and picnic tables for lunch with your feet in the sand. Do not hesitate to enjoy a gourmet break at the snack bar which offers trays of fries and refreshing drinks. In summer, swimming is supervised.

Lac du Paty

Lac du Paty is ideal for recharging your batteries for a day, lulled by the sound of Provence offered by cicadas and the scent of cedar wood. The setting and the view, in the heart of nature, are simply awesome. Monteux Lake

If you are looking for a place that can satisfy as many people as possible, children and parents alike, then Lac de Monteux is certainly a good compromise! Because here, you will have the choice between settling on the small pebble beach or on a deckchair on the private beach, basking in the sun with a book or even going for a walk around the lake and passing threw the pretty wooden pontoons that cross reeds. But you can also take advantage of the many activities on offer on site: paddleboarding, pedal boats, fitness parks, water courses, water skiing or even inflatable games!

Prato Beach

In Pernes les Fontaines, the private lake of Prato Plage is a perfect destination for those who dream of relaxation. Straw umbrellas and deckchairs face the clear and transparent water that gives only one desire : immersing yourself completely. You can take a gourmet break between two swims thanks to the snack bar which offers drinks, cocktails, ice cream, pancakes or waffles.

Swimming pools open in summer in the Ventoux region

For those who don't like the feel of sand on their skin and like to know that a lifeguard is continually monitoring swimming, here are a few pools that open in summer :

• The Beaumes-de-Venise swimming pool, open every day from mid-June to mid-September.
• The Bédoin swimming pool, open every day from mid-June to the end of August.
• The nautical stadium of Carpentras open every day from June 10 to the end of August with the exception of June 16 due to a competition. In Carpentras, an indoor swimming pool is also open much of the year, from mid-September to the end of May.
• The Sault swimming pool, open every day from July to August.
• The Villes sur Auzon swimming pool, open every day from July to August.
