Walking in Isle sur Sorgue...
L'Isle sur Sorgue is a true breath of fresh air...
L'Isle sur Sorgue is world-renowned for its antiques market and numerous art galleries. Criss-crossed by several channels fed by the River Sorgue, the village has been christened "The Comtadin Venice". Its charm will win you over as you stroll along these channels, weaving between ancient and narrow streets. You will go over little bridges and observe the workings of the huge mossy water wheels driven by the Sorgue...

The Toulourenc River
The Toulourenc has all the makings of a mountain stream, flowing just behind the Ventoux in a natural setting.
Between the hamlet of Vaux and Saint-Léger-du-Ventoux, you can access the Toulourenc gorges where you can bask in the shade of the willows and enjoy the coolness of the water.
This place, which is very popular every summer, has been greatly weakened. It is therefore essential to preserve this beautiful place so that it remains accessible to all in the future. (Pick up your rubbish, do not form dams with the pebbles, avoid sun products)

Le Paty Lake, in Caromb
A couple of miles from Caromb, at the foot of Mont Ventoux, lies this man-made lake created by a dam. Surrounded by pine trees and green oaks, it is first and foremost a place to fish, walk and relax, with picnic tables dotted around. In summer, swimming is not supervised but is permitted within a marked-out area.
